The South East Jaguars football team is the # 1 seed in the Los Angeles City Section Division II Playoffs hosted the Grant Lancers from Van Nuys. There is a reason why the Jaguars were seeded # 1 not only because of the record but the talent they have on their roster. The Jaguars waisted no time getting on the scoreboard first when Robert Lewis scored on a 28 yard touchdown pass from Jonathan Santos and now led 7-0. Minutes later the Jaguars scored again when Christian Quinones scored on a 13 yard quick slant to push the lead up to 14-0. The Jaguars' defense was feeding of their offense flying to the ball and making great tackles.

Grant seem to have no answer for Robert Lewis as he ran in for another touchdown early in the second quarter and the Jaguars now led 21-0. The Jaguars' Christopher Ochoa got into the scoring when he caught a 67 touchdown pass from Jonathan Santos with 8:27 left into the second quarter led 28-0. The Lancers just couldn't get any type of a drive going and the Jaguars wasn't going to let up either.The Jaguars' Alex Alvarez was able to
score on a 52 yard touchdown pass and the score was now 35-0. The Jaguars kickoff after that score and the Lancers finally had great field position and did something with it. With a 1:05 left in the second quarter the Lancers got on the board with a touchdown pass from Daleshaun Jackson to Ruben Ramirez to make the score 35-6. South East on the next series scored again with a 29 yard touchdown pass from Santos to Lewis and South East led at the half 42-6.

In the third quarter the Jaguars continue the route as Robert Lewis scored on his fourth touchdown of the game from 33 yards out and the scores was now 49-6. Moments later the Jaguars' Christopher Ochoa scored on a 1 yard touchdown run to push their lead up to 56-6 to end the third quarter. In the fourth quarter the Lancers scored on a safety with 8:54 and now the score was 56-8. The lancers got on the board one more time when Demarsha Willis broke free for 85 yard touchdown run to make the score 56-14 and that was the final score of the game. South East will host Fremont in the second round of the playoffs. The Jaguars' quarterback Jonathan Santos finish on the night 11/12 for 282 yards and 4 touchdowns and Robert Lewis finish the night 7 carries for 106 yards and 3 touchdowns caught one pass for 29 yards and 1 touchdown.
